Dottie's Garden ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Auralen Holdings LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Dottie's Garden, you agree to this policy.

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. Authentication is handled through our provider, Supabase.
• Garden data you create. Information you add to the App, such as your plants, garden layouts, care reminders, notes, and related content.
• Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details; Stripe handles that directly. We receive limited information such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
• Usage and analytics data. We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how the App is used (pages visited, features used, and general device and browser information). This helps us improve the product.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide the App's features and store your garden data.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To understand usage and improve the App.
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the App: Supabase (authentication and data storage), Stripe (payment processing), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Netlify (hosting). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data Retention

We keep your account and garden data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

Your Choices and Rights

• You can access and update your account information within the App.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data.

Children's Privacy

Dottie's Garden is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and secure, reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the App or by email.
