Dottie's Garden is an AI-powered gardening companion that provides planting recommendations, care reminders, weather-aware advice, and a conversational garden assistant powered by Dottie, our in-app guide. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

AI-Generated Advice

Dottie's Garden uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate gardening recommendations. This advice is informational only and does not constitute professional horticultural, agricultural, or environmental guidance. Outcomes may vary based on your local conditions, soil, microclimate, and other factors outside the Service's knowledge. Always use your own judgment, especially for matters involving food safety, pest control, or large investments of time and money.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate information (such as your zip code) to receive relevant recommendations.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse our AI API endpoints.
• You are responsible for the content of any photos or text you input into the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Dottie's Garden name, Dottie character, logo, and application design are our property. Your plant data, photos, and notes belong to you. We claim no ownership over content you create.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOTTIE'S GARDEN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING CROP LOSS, PLANT DAMAGE, OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED ADVICE.
